Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal reviews department’s plans

Raipur, December 24, 2024/ Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal today reviewed the departmental works at the Mahanadi Bhavan in Naya Raipur.

In the presence of newly appointed Health Secretary Amit Kataria, the Health Minister directed the departmental heads and all officers to work better and implement the schemes effectively.

The meeting extensively reviewed the works done by the Health Department during the last one year and also discussed strategies for the coming time to provide better health facilities to the people in public interest.

The meeting extensively discussed issues related to medical education, health services, AYUSH, National Health Mission, CGMSC, and Food and Drug Administration.

Addressing the officers in the meeting, Shri Jaiswal said that health is a major issue related to public interest and there is always scope for improvement. The meeting was attended by Health Department Secretary Shri Amit Kataria, Commissioner cum Director of Health Services Dr. Priyanka Shukla, MD NHM Shri Vijay Dayaram, and Director CGMSC Smt. Padmini Bhoi, among other departmental officers.
