Raipur, March 25
Under the guidance of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai and the efforts of Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, the autonomous societies constituted at different times and with different regulations in all 10 medical colleges under the Directorate of Medical Education have been unified and extensively reformed. Under this, the autonomous societies have been given more financial and administrative powers than before, and provisions have been made for the formation of a Management Executive Committee and a Finance Committee, granting financial authority to all.
A web portal has been developed for the better execution of the functions of the autonomous societies so that quick action can be taken with transparency. At the same time, it can also function as a monitoring tool to achieve the goal of good governance.
Through the e-portal “Swashasi Society e-Sampadan Portal” (Autonomous Society e-Governance Portal), the autonomous societies will be able to create their agendas online and also provide meeting notices. After the meeting, they will be able to enter the decisions taken and also create the minutes of the meeting. The Autonomous Society e-Governance Portal will not only facilitate agenda creation and minutes preparation but will also assign a unique ID to every agenda item. This ID will be linked to the payment related to that agenda, which will prevent duplication in the financial burden or payment and ensure transparency in payments. This portal is being provided free of cost by ICICI Bank under the CSR fund.
The decision/purchase documents and photographs taken in the autonomous society will also be uploaded in this portal. Once data is locked, it will not be possible to make changes. After data lock, payments will also be made through this portal, which will be linked to the bank’s payment gateway.
Through the e-Governance Portal of the Autonomous Society, information on the income and expenditure of the autonomous society will also be available. At the same time, information on how much amount has been spent under which head will be available immediately. Information on the action taken on the decisions taken in previous meetings will also be available.
The Autonomous Society e-Governance Portal will bring transparency in the functions and payments of the autonomous societies. This will enable faster decision-making in public interest works.
