Governor, CM paid homage to former Prime Minister by garlanding his statue

Raipur, August 31
Governor Shri Ramen Deka and Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai attended the fifth convocation ceremony of Atal Bihari Vajpayee University Bilaspur today. On this occasion, the Governor and Chief Minister paid tribute to the former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna awardee, late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, by garlanding his statue located on the university campus. First Lady Smt. Ranee Deka Kakoty was also present.
Governor Shri Deka and Chief Minister Shri Sai inaugurated several projects at the university, including Project Gyanpath, Atal Muktakashi Manch, and Atal Sarovar. As part of the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign, both the Governor and the Chief Minister planted saplings on the university premises.
Union Minister of State for Urban Development Shri Tokhan Sahu, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao, MLAs Shri Dharamlal Kaushik, Shri Amar Agrawal, and Shri Sushant Shukla, along with Vice-Chancellor of Atal Bihari Vajpayee University Shri A.D.N. Vajpayee, as well as a large number of public representatives, officials, and university students, were also present.
