Government committed to fulfill PM Modi’s guarantees and establishing good governance: CM Sai

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today participated in the closing ceremony of the Divisional Level Sports Event of the Ekal Abhiyan Abhyuday Youth Club at Gayatri Vidyapeeth School in Rajnandgaon district.

He stated that in any competition, when one side wins, the other does not lose but rather comes in second place. He further emphasized that tribal children in rural areas are greatly benefiting from the Ekal Abhiyan Abhyuday Youth Club. On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced an allocation of ₹20 lakh for the beautification of the sports ground at Gayatri Vidyapeeth School.

Chief Minister Sai said that the state government is firmly committed to fulfilling Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s guarantees and establishing good governance. He mentioned that under the Mahatari Vandan Yojana, ₹1,000 is being provided monthly to 70 lakh women in the state. Beneficiaries are being provided benefits through schemes such as the Pradhan Mantri Awas YojanaTendu Patta Bonus, and various other welfare programs. He also mentioned that special efforts are being made to eliminate corruption from the state.

The Chief Minister extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the schoolchildren, winning participants, and the Ekal Abhiyan family who had gathered from various parts of Chhattisgarh. He shared that through newspapers, he came to know about a rickshaw driver’s daughter from Bilaspur who aspired to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa. He immediately arranged ₹3.75 lakh in financial assistance to help her. Similarly, assistance will also be provided to a worker’s daughter who is a talented badminton player. He assured that there would be no shortage of resources, and the state government would extend every possible help to the state’s athletes. He added that for athletes from Chhattisgarh who win medals at the Olympics, ₹3 crore will be awarded for a gold medal, ₹2 crore for a silver medal, and ₹1 crore for a bronze medal.

Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh praised Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai for his hard work, stating that he had walked long distances and studied under difficult conditions in Jashpur. He encouraged the students to follow in his footsteps, emphasizing that with hard work, anyone can achieve success like Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai. On this occasion, MP Shri Santosh Pandey and other public representatives, officials, employees, members of Ekal Vidyalaya and Youth Club, and the children athletes were present.
