Gariaband gets four new hostels under PM Janman Yojana

Raipur, January 5
To connect the children of the specially backward tribes living in the forest areas of Gariaband with the mainstream of development, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai today laid the foundation stone for four new hostel buildings under the central government’s special scheme ‘PM Janman’ during his visit to Gariaband.
These hostels will be built in Dhawalpur, Jidar, Jugaad, and Piperchhedi. A sum of Rs 10 crore has been sanctioned to complete these hostels.
It is noteworthy that the Kamar, a specially backward tribe, resides in the forest areas of Gariaband district. These hostels are being constructed under the PM Janman Yojana to connect the children of these communities with education. This will ensure the continuity of studies for these children. They will also be able to build a better career for themselves. These hostels to be built under the PM Janman Yojana will be well-equipped. These hostels will also have a library and a computer room.
