The celebration of the 76th Republic Day in Chhattisgarh’s Bastar division was particularly remarkable this year. The villages, which were once forced to live under the shadow of fear and terror of Naxalites, are now moving on a new path of peace and development.

Due to the tremendous success of the Naxal eradication campaign run by the Chhattisgarh government, a new atmosphere of security and trust has been created in the villages, due to which, for the first time this year, villagers unfurled the tricolor in 26 villages and celebrated Republic Day with great enthusiasm.
