Finance Minister OP Chaudhary to Present Budget on March 3

Finance Minister Shri OP Chaudhary will present the Chhattisgarh Budget for the fiscal year 2025-26 in the state assembly on March 3, 2025, at 12:30 PM.

Finance Minister Chaudhary stated that this year’s budget would be another major step in the continuity of the previous budget. He emphasized that, in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a ‘Developed India by 2047’, the Chhattisgarh government, under Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai’s leadership, is committed to the goal of creating a ‘Developed Chhattisgarh by 2047’. This budget will pave the way for policy reforms, economic empowerment, and the overall development of the state.

Shri Chaudhary highlighted that Chhattisgarh has made remarkable progress in economic growth, industrial development, infrastructure, and social welfare over the past years. To accelerate this growth further, this year’s budget will be broader and more impactful compared to the previous one.

He also noted that the state’s economy is advancing rapidly, creating new opportunities for development. The government’s policies have particularly benefited farmers, women, laborers, homeless families, and economically weaker sections, strengthening public trust in the administration.

Expressing gratitude for public support, Shri Chaudhary stated that this budget will be historic in terms of state development, economic reforms, and public welfare initiatives.
