Finance Minister OP Chaudhary launches ‘Mahtari Shakti Loan Scheme’

Finance Minister Shri O.P. Chaudhary launched the Mahtari Shakti Loan Scheme from his residence. The chairman of the State Rural Bank, Shri Vinod Arora, was also present on this occasion.
Expressing happiness, Finance Minister Shri Chaudhary said, “This scheme is an important step towards empowering mothers and sisters economically.”
The Chairman of the State Rural Bank, Shri Arora, informed that under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, sisters whose accounts are in the rural bank and in which the amount of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana is deposited, will be provided a loan of up to Rs. 25,000 for self-employment without any formalities.
The Mahtari Shakti Loan Scheme, launched by the State Rural Bank, aims to make rural women self-reliant and promote their economic empowerment. This scheme will not only provide financial assistance to women but will also help them to provide a strong foundation for their family and society through self-employment.
