Fameshwari Yadav Becomes Chhattisgarh’s First Female Agniveer: CM Sai Congratulates Her

Fameshwari Yadav, a 21-year-old from Gariaband district, has made history by becoming Chhattisgarh’s first female Agniveer after being selected as a female military police (WMP) in the Indian Army. This is a matter of pride for the state and symbolizes the self-confidence of its daughters.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai congratulated Fameshwari on this achievement, stating that this is not just a selection but a testament to the courage and patriotism of the daughters of Chhattisgarh. Fameshwari has demonstrated that with determination, any dream can be realized.

The Chief Minister further mentioned that this success will inspire other young women in the state, encouraging them to pursue careers in the military and other fields. The state government stands with the daughters in every step of their empowerment and national service.

Shri Sai wished her a bright future and stated that this achievement will serve as an inspiration for the new generation of Chhattisgarh and that the state’s daughters will set new records in every field.

It is worth mentioning that after being selected in the results declared on March 24, 2025, Fameshwari will begin her training at the Army Military Police Training Center in Bengaluru on May 1, 2025. She was also honored by the Army Recruitment Office, Raipur.
