The ugly, mid-air spat between Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover has been making headlines for some kind of development every day. We all are aware that the matter became very controversial and not only Sunil Grover but even other members i.e. Chandan Prabhakar and Ali Asgar have boycotted the show.
Reports say that Kapil tried convincing Sunil Grover, but he refused to accept his apologies. Reports claim that Sunil Pal, Raju Shrivastav and Ahsaan Qureshi agree to do the show with Kapil.
But now latest reports suggest that not only Raju Srivastava but rival Krushna Abhishek too may be considered for the part and may fill Sunil’s shoes in the show.
Recently, in an interview, Krushna Abhishek said he will definitely collaborate with Kapil Sharma even though they are perceived as competitors. He said “Yes definitely. People would be waiting to see both of us on stage. I think that would be like Shah Rukh and Salman doing a film together. That would be a lot of fun. That time will definitely come.”
In an interview with a leading portal, Krushna first cleared the air about his rivalry with Kapil where he said, “I have never had any issues with Kapil. Kapil respects me a lot and I respect him too. We must have had minor issues but we have never disrespected each other. I have never come across Kapil disrespecting me anytime. He never mixes up personal and professional issues. I don’t know why people are talking ill about him.”
Further, when he was asked to comment on Sunil Grover quitting the show, he said, “Koi baat nahi! It maybe that Kapil and I work together soon!”
Krushna Abhishek has always been vocal about his opinion, and his rivalry with Kapil is also known to all. Both the comedians have worked together in Comedy Circus, but after they parted ways with different comedy shows – Comedy Nights Bachao and Comedy Nights Live – things turned sour between them. And so, it was shocking when Krushna Abhishek took Kapil’s side in the Sunil Grover row recently.
