Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been filed in the Delhi High Court seeking a centralised system for notifying and applying for colleges and government jobs so as to make the application process accessible to all aspirants.

It also sought the facility of uploading educational/ official documents on the centralised websites through logging in so as to avoid forgery and malpractices.

A bench headed by Chief Justice G Rohini yesterday fixed the plea for hearing on May 5.

The petioner has sought direction to the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pension and others to make two centralised websites — one for listing college entrance examinations and the other for listing all government/public sector undertaking jobs.

The plea sought direction to the Centre, states and Union territories to pay the poor/financially weak unemployed aspirants so that they can pay the examination fees for the government job examinations.
