Education is the Foundation of Social Development; Life is Incomplete Without Education: Sai

Raipur, October 26

Life is incomplete without education. Education is not merely a means to secure a job but a path to a successful life. Education is the fundamental mantra for social development. Whether it is the art of living, trade, agriculture, or any other field—education plays a vital role in achieving success in every sector. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai made this statement while addressing the oath-taking and Diwali Milan ceremony of the Chhattisgarh Pradesh Manikpuri Panika Samaj, organized at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in the capital, Raipur.
Chief Minister Shri Sai administered the oath to all the newly-elected office-bearers and extended his congratulations and best wishes to them. He said that the state government has been consistently working in the field of education since its formation. At the time of state formation, there was only one medical college, whereas today, approximately 15 medical colleges are operating in the state. Similarly, nationally and internationally reputed educational institutions—such as IIT, Triple-IT, IIM, Law University, AIIMS, and CIPET—have been established in Chhattisgarh, providing both education and opportunities to the local students of the state.
Chief Minister Shri Sai further said that today there is a need for society to be organized, as a strong nation is built only by an organized society. He noted that the society has also made an unparalleled contribution in the fields of art and literature since ancient times. The goddess in the world-famous Bastar Dussehra’s Kachhandevi ritual descends upon a girl who is also from the Panika community—this is certainly a matter of pride for the entire community.
Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that the core mantra of the successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji is – ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas’ (Together with all, Development for all, Trust of all, and Efforts of all). Under his guidance, our government has been continuously working for the welfare of all sections of society for the last 22 months. We have taken steps such as the Krishak Unnati Yojana in the interest of farmers, the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to provide permanent houses, the Mahtari Vandan Yojana to empower mothers and sisters, and Shikshak Yuktiyuktkaran (Teacher Rationalisation) to address the shortage of teachers in schools in remote areas.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the Chhattisgarh Mati Kala Board, Shri Shambhu Nath Chakraborty, also addressed the program and congratulated all the newly-elected office-bearers.
The program was attended by the President of the Chhattisgarh Pradesh Manikpuri Panika Samaj, Shri Bharat Das Manikpuri, along with the society’s office-bearers, public representatives, and a large number of dignitaries.
