Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has said that education is essential for success in any field. Life is incomplete without education. Education is the mantra of development. Chief Minister Shri Say said this while addressing the 18th annual function of Kaanger Valley Academy in the capital Raipur.
Chief Minister Sai said that our double-engine government has taken unprecedented decisions in the field of education. We have implemented the National Education Policy in the state. We have started innovative initiatives like teacher-parent meetings and invitation dinners in schools to improve the quality of education and nutrition of children. He said that 341 schools in the state have been selected as PM SHRI schools. Good infrastructure and smart class facilities are being provided for education. He said that all major national educational institutions are being operated in Chhattisgarh.
Chief Minister Sai said that he was happy to know that along with studies, sports are also given importance in this school. Children are also taught meditation here.
He also gave a message to the children that sports and co-curricular activities along with studies are necessary for their overall development.
MLA Padmashri Anuj Sharma said that in this school, along with education, the work of imparting values to the students is also being done. Education plays a big role in personality development. It is the basis of future successes.
Chief Minister Sai also visited the exhibition of paintings and fine art created by the students of the academy on this occasion.
