The Swagatam portal has been launched to simplify and make the process more convenient for visitors coming to the Secretariat.

Nitin Wale from Raipur, who had come to meet the Secretary for personal work at the Mahanadi Bhavan Secretariat, shared his experience. He mentioned that after registering through the Swagatam portal by providing the purpose of the visit, personal details, and the meeting time, he immediately received a confirmation message and an entry pass.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has facilitated the public’s entry into the Secretariat by launching the Swagatam portal. The portal has made it easier for the public to meet with government officials at the Secretariat.

Nitin explained that after his identity was verified at the entrance, he was able to enter the Secretariat smoothly. He appreciated the portal and expressed gratitude towards Chief Minister Sai.

Wale mentioned that the Swagatam portal not only saves time but also strengthens the security system by maintaining the visitors’ details. Since visitors’ information is pre-registered on the portal, the administration’s task has become simpler, and it has made it easier for common citizens to connect with the government. The Swagatam portal, as a symbol of government transparency and technological convenience, is helping reduce the distance between the government and the public.

It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Sai has launched three portals—E-Office System, Chief Minister’s Office Online Portal, and Swagatam Portal—to promote e-governance in Chhattisgarh and bring transparency to government work. This initiative will enhance efficiency and transparency in government operations, ensuring good governance.
