Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, Chhattisgarh is realizing the vision of Digital India. Backed by the state’s forward-looking policies and technological innovations, Chhattisgarh is rapidly advancing in the field of digital services. From the state secretariat to gram panchayats, digital technology has made governance more accessible and effective.

In 1,460 gram panchayats, Atal Digital Seva Kendras are providing cash withdrawal facilities for elderly pensioners and women beneficiaries of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. With the availability of direct cash payouts from various DBT schemes within the panchayats, villagers no longer need to travel to bank branches.

After the successful implementation of the e-office system in state ministries and directorates, the Chhattisgarh government is now extending it to the district level. This is a significant step toward reducing paperwork and streamlining office operations. It has accelerated administrative work and improved transparency in processes. As a result, unnecessary delays in file processing have been eliminated, leading to quicker decisions.

With the launch of 10 digital services, land registration has become more convenient and transparent. Citizens can now book appointments and complete property registration from home using Aadhaar authentication. Post-registration, the mutation process is carried out automatically.

To improve revenue administration, georeferencing of all 14,490 villages in Chhattisgarh has been completed. This ambitious initiative will help resolve land-related disputes. For the 2025–26 Kharif season, more than 14,000 villages have been selected for digital crop surveys. Through e-courts, revenue cases are now being resolved in a timely and efficient manner.

Real-time monitoring of government schemes and programs is being conducted through the Atal Monitoring Portal. To ensure transparency in government procurement, the GeM (Government e-Marketplace) portal has been made mandatory, enhancing fairness and accountability in the process.

Administrative processes for pensioners have been made simpler and more accessible. Through DigiLocker, essential documents such as e-PPOs, GPF statements, final payment orders, and pension certificates are now available. The Employee Corner mobile app and web portal have digitized the process of updating government employee records.

Chhattisgarh is keeping pace with the world in the field of Artificial Intelligence. With the establishment of the country’s first AI Data Center Park in Nava Raipur, the state’s digital economy is set to accelerate. This development will position Chhattisgarh as a new hub for AI-based services.

The state government is committed to extending digital benefits to every segment of society. CGMSCL (Chhattisgarh Medical Services Corporation Limited) has implemented an app-based system to track the state’s pharmaceutical supply chain in real time. This has ensured timely availability of medicines, especially in tribal areas, thereby making healthcare services more efficient.

The online transit pass system introduced by the Mineral Department has made mineral transportation more organized and transparent. The launch of the CMO Portal has further strengthened communication between citizens and the government.

These digital initiatives by the Chhattisgarh government are not only enhancing administrative efficiency but also making life easier for its citizens. From villages to cities, every section of society is experiencing the benefits of this digital revolution.
