Deputy CM Urges Youth to Contribute to Society’s Development

Raipur, January 12

Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao attended the National Youth Day program held at the Ramakrishna Mission Ashram in Narayanpur today.

Addressing the program as the chief guest, he said that the state government is providing all possible support to empower the youth. Swami Vivekananda Ramakrishna Mission Ashrams are being operated in the interior areas of Narayanpur district for the quality education of youth, where, along with education, work is being done for the upliftment of Indian culture and society.

He said that Swami Vivekananda, with his sharp intellect, established Indian philosophy and culture in India and abroad. His address at the World’s Parliament of Religions in Chicago on September 9, 1893, is unforgettable. Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap and Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission Ashram Swami Vyaptanand Maharaj were also present at the program.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao said in the program that the various activities and social upliftment work being carried out by the Ramakrishna Mission Ashram in the region are exemplary. Children are being trained artistically to make them self-reliant along with education. Inspiring children and youth, he said that there is no need to be discouraged by failure. Youth should move forward fearlessly with positive energy, courage, and self-confidence.

Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, addressing the program, said that the youth should follow the life of Swami Vivekananda and make their lives successful. There should always be a sense of respect for the country and motherland in the hearts of human beings. Hard work is the only means to achieve a good life.

Referring to Bhagwan Birsa Munda and freedom fighters, he urged people to move forward in society by following the paths shown by them.
Swami Vyaptanand Maharaj, Secretary of the Ramakrishna Mission Ashram, said in the program that today the whole country is standing with the youth. Ramakrishna Mission has been working in Narayanpur since 1984. This ashram was established for the better health and education of the people of Abujhmar. The children here are studying in the ashram and are successfully contributing to society. Collector Smt. Pratiṣṭhā Mamgai, Superintendent of Police Shri Prabhat Kumar, CEO of the Zila Panchayat Shri Vasu Jain, and Swami Anubhavanand, along with public representatives, dignitaries, and students, were present in large numbers at the program.
