Deputy CM Sai Performed Bhoomi Pujan for Development Works, Conducted Surprise Inspections, and Listened to Public Grievances

Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao is actively inspecting the on-ground progress of development projects.
On Thursday, he conducted a surprise inspection of the newly constructed CC road in Tulsaghat Ward of Lorami Municipality in Mungeli district. He interacted with residents to discuss the road’s quality and hear their grievances.
Sao also performed the bhoomi pujan (foundation stone-laying ceremony) for a road project costing ₹14 lakh. Additionally, development works worth ₹80 lakh have been approved in the ward. Responding to the demand of Tulsaghat residents, he assured the construction of a bridge over the Maniyari River.
Sao also reviewed the under-construction Satnam Bhavan in Ward-15 of Lorami Municipality and directed officials to complete the project on time.
Sao laid the foundation for development works worth ₹44 lakh at the Lorami High School ground. He announced that a boundary wall will be constructed at a cost of over ₹25 lakh, while ₹19 lakh will be spent on installing lights for the convenience of players. These lights will also enable the ground to host various religious and social events during the night. He highlighted that the state government has approved ₹53 crore for the development of Lorami city in the past year alone.
During his visit to Lorami, Sao participated in the annual function of Saraswati Shishu Mandir Middle School, Jhafal, where he inaugurated a cultural stage.
He announced ₹10 lakh for Saraswati Shishu Mandir School and ₹5 lakh for the construction of the Navadha Ramayana stage in Ganga Nagar, Jhafal. Shri Sao also attended the youth felicitation and annual function of Dashrathlal Amrika Bai Adarsh Higher Secondary School, Bandhwa. He honored meritorious youth selected in competitive exams and extended his congratulations and best wishes to them.
At the event, he announced the construction of a CC road from Eklavya School to Dashrathlal School and pledged additional funds from his discretionary grants.
