Delegation of MPs from Kerala and Odisha Pays Courtesy Visit to CM Sai

Raipur, 29 July

A delegation of Members of Parliament from Kerala and Odisha paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today at the Mahanadi Bhawan, Secretariat. The delegation included Lok Sabha MPs Shri Benny Behanan (Chalakudy), Shri K. Francis George (Kottayam), Shri N. K. Premachandran (Kollam), Shri Saptagiri Ulaka (Koraput), and Kerala Legislative Assembly member Smt. Roshi M. John.

The delegation shared concerns and information with the Chief Minister regarding a recent conversion-related incident that has drawn public attention in the state.

Chief Minister Shri Sai responded by stating that Chhattisgarh is a peace-loving state that believes in harmony, where people of all religions live together amicably.

He assured the delegation that the matter is being investigated through proper judicial processes, and that the law is functioning independently. He further emphasized that the safety and dignity of the state’s daughters and citizens is a top priority for the government.
