A decisive campaign for the complete eradication of Naxalism in Chhattisgarh is progressing rapidly. Today, security forces carried out a major operation in Bijapur-Gangalur and Kanker-Narayanpur, killing 30 Naxalites. Of these, 26 Naxalites were eliminated in Bijapur-Gangalur, and 4 Naxalites were killed in Kanker-Narayanpur.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai hailed this success as a significant achievement in the fight against Naxalism, praising the bravery and indomitable courage of the security forces. He stated that the fight against Naxalism in Chhattisgarh will continue strongly until the entire state is free from Naxalism.

While paying tribute to the martyrdom of a DRG jawan during the operation, Chief Minister Shri Sai emphasized that the sacrifice of our brave soldiers will never be forgotten. They have given their utmost sacrifice to make Chhattisgarh safe and peaceful. Their sacrifice will not go in vain.

Complete Elimination of Naxalism by 2026 – Stepping Forward Towards Our Resolution

Chief Minister Shri Sai reiterated the commitment of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Home Minister Shri Amit Shah to completely eradicate Naxalism from the country by 31 March 2026. He mentioned that the success of the security forces in this operation is a significant step towards achieving this goal. He expressed complete confidence that the resolve of Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Shah will be fulfilled, and every citizen of the state will lead a fear-free life. The final hour of Naxalism has arrived.
