CM Sai to Lay Foundation Stone of Semiconductor Manufacturing Plant in Nava Raipur on April 11

Raipur, April 10

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai will lay the foundation stone of a plant by the renowned semiconductor manufacturing company Polymatech Electronics Private Limited in Nava Raipur on April 11.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister will also inaugurate the Jharia Alkaline Water Bottling Plant. Additionally, he will allocate furnished office spaces to IT companies in the newly constructed commercial tower in Nava Raipur and launch a public e-auto transport service.

Commerce and Industries Minister Shri Lakhansingh Devangan and Housing and Environment Minister Shri O.P. Chaudhary will be present as distinguished guests at the event. The program is being organized under the joint auspices of the Department of Commerce and Industries and the Department of Housing and Environment.

It is noteworthy that Polymatech Electronics Private Limited is India’s first semiconductor chip manufacturing company, which will establish a major plant in Chhattisgarh at a cost of Rs. 1,143 crore. Spread across 150,000 square feet, the plant is expected to produce 10 billion chips by 2030, which will be used in telecom, 6G/7G, laptops, and power electronics. The plant will provide employment to over 130 people.

The Chief Minister will also allocate fully furnished office spaces in the Nava Raipur commercial tower to IT companies. This is a significant step towards transforming Nava Raipur into India’s next IT hub. These companies are expected to generate employment for around 750 people. The Chief Minister will also hand over joining letters to selected youth on this occasion.

Furthermore, the Chief Minister will inaugurate the public e-auto transport service in Nava Raipur. This service will be operated by women’s self-help groups. Covering an area of around 130 kilometers, the e-auto network will connect residential areas, offices, railway stations, the airport, and the jungle safari. The service will employ 40 women and increase their income. Additionally, the Chief Minister will inaugurate the Jharia Alkaline Water Bottling Plant, which will ensure the supply of safe drinking water.
