Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai paid respectful tribute to freedom fighter and renowned poetess Mrs. Sarojini Naidu on her death anniversary (March 2).
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said that Mrs. Sarojini Naidu’s powerful voice and strong writing gave a new direction to the Indian freedom struggle. Her contribution to making women socially and politically aware is historic. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the poems, thoughts and struggles of Sarojini Naidu, famous as ‘Nightingale of India’, will always inspire the coming generations.
