CM Sai Launches Mukhyamantri Anna Kosh Yojana

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai today inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 1614 development and construction works costing Rs 536.14 crore at a program held at PG College Ground in Ambikapur and said that it will accelerate the development of Surguja district.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced the allocation of Rs 23.90 crore for the infrastructure development of the Ambikapur Municipal Corporation area.
He also announced the development of the Super Speciality Hospital, Ambikapur on the lines of DKS Raipur, and renaming the University Engineering College as Government Engineering College.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Sai launched the Chief Minister’s Food Fund Scheme with the aim of providing additional nutritional food to pregnant and lactating mothers of the Pahari Korwa tribe, a particularly backward tribal community in Surguja district. This scheme has been started as a pilot project by the district administration of Surguja. It will help reduce maternal and infant mortality rates in the Pahari Korwa community. Chief Minister Sai also released the career directory prepared by the district administration.
Paying homage to Maa Mahamaya on this occasion, Chief Minister Sai congratulated the people of the district on the development works and said that Ambikapur is one of the most beautiful and clean cities not only in Chhattisgarh but also in the country. This has been possible due to the contribution of the officers and employees of the Municipal Corporation, our sanitation workers, and cleanliness didis. I would also like to give credit to the citizens of Ambikapur, whose cooperation has made Ambikapur clean and beautiful.
The Chief Minister further said that the people have faith in the guarantee of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. On December 13, one year of the Chhattisgarh government will be completed. In this short span of one year, the government has tried to complete the big works guaranteed by Modi. In the last five years, the houses of poor and needy families who were deprived of Prime Minister’s housing have been sanctioned and constructed. The government is procuring paddy at the rate of 21 quintals per acre. The government is committed to giving farmers a price of Rs 3100 per quintal for paddy.
The Chief Minister said that more than 70 lakh mothers and sisters are being benefited through the Mahatari Vandan Yojana. The remuneration for tendu leaves is now Rs 5500 per standard bag. More than 20 thousand devotees have got the opportunity to visit Ayodhya Dham and have darshan of Lord Ram through the Shri Ram Lala Darshan Yatra Yojana. We have worked to bring transparency in the PSC examination as promised. The CBI is investigating the corruption that took place in the PSC recruitment process last year. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sao also addressed the program and congratulated the people of Surguja on the inauguration and ground-breaking of the district’s development works.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Sai inspected the stalls of government departments set up there. During this, he also distributed material and amount to the beneficiaries benefited under various schemes of the government. On this occasion, the Chief Minister honored self-help group member Smt. Bani Mukherjee, Mitanin Smt. Parimania Yadav, Anganwadi worker Smt. Pramila Tirki and Smt. Puro Bai, cleanliness didi Smt. Sunita Sarkheli, Mandal coordinator of Lundra Shri Raghunath Prasad, lecturer Smt. Leena Thomas for their outstanding work.
