CM Sai Launches Development Projects Worth Over ₹63 Crore in Jashpur

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has launched development projects worth over ₹63 crore for Jashpur district. At an event held in the district headquarters of Jashpur, he laid the foundation stone for 22 projects worth ₹59.75 crore and inaugurated 5 projects worth ₹3.64 crore. These projects include public utility initiatives such as the beautification of Jay Stambh Chowk, construction of hostels, community buildings, compost centers, and RR centers.

The foundation stone-laying ceremony includes 22 significant development works related to the Nagar Palika Parishad, Police Department, Chhattisgarh Housing Board, and the Panchayat and Rural Road Development Department. Key projects include BT roads, CC roads, drains, stormwater drains, community buildings, a sewage treatment plant, streetlight expansion, lake and park development, hostel buildings, and road construction.

Inauguration of Beautification and Upgradation of Jay Stambh Chowk

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai inaugurated the beautification and upgradation of Jay Stambh Chowk, done at a cost of ₹23.86 lakh. Jay Stambh Chowk, established as a memorial for India’s Independence Day, has been upgraded to honor the sacrifices and dedication of freedom fighters.

Chief Minister Shri Sai remarked that Jay Stambh Chowk will continue to inspire future generations with the spirit of sacrifice, patriotism, and service to the nation.

He further stated that these projects would significantly contribute to the overall development of Jashpur district and enhance the facilities for its citizens. He also directed that all works be completed with high quality and within the specified time frame.

The event was attended by various public representatives, including Sarguja Tribal Development Authority Vice President and MLA Mrs. Gomati Sai, Jashpur MLA Mrs. Raimuni Bhagat, senior officials, and local citizens.
