CM Sai Inspects Preparations for Prime Minister Modi’s Visit to Bilaspur

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai personally visited the event site today to inspect the preparations for the massive public gathering proposed to be held on March 30 in Mohbhatha, Bodri Tehsil, Bilaspur district. He thoroughly reviewed all the important arrangements related to the program, including the main stage, helipad, green room, cultural stage, seating arrangements for beneficiaries and distinguished guests, and other crucial setups.

During the inspection, Chief Minister Shri Sai held a meeting with the officials and directed that all preparations for this historic event, which will take place over a 55-acre area, should be timely, well-organized, and focused on public welfare. It was mentioned in the meeting that nearly 2 lakh people from across the state are expected to attend the event. In light of this, all departments have been instructed to work in an alert mode.

Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that this will be Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s largest visit to Chhattisgarh to date. His arrival during the auspicious occasion of Navratri is a highly auspicious sign for the state’s development. He also mentioned that they personally invited the Prime Minister to visit Delhi, and now the entire state is eagerly awaiting his arrival.

Chief Minister Shri Sai informed that during this historic event, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will lay the foundation for development works worth approximately ₹33,000 crore. These include schemes under the PM Janman Yojana, specifically aimed at tribes such as the Birhor, Baiga, and Hill Korwa, which will guide the development of Chhattisgarh’s tribal regions in a new direction.

The Chief Minister also directed the district administration to ensure the safe transportation of beneficiaries from their homes to the event site and back. He instructed the provision of adequate facilities considering the summer season, including water, shade, and medical services.

Chief Minister Shri Sai praised the local administration, under the leadership of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao, for their dedicated efforts in ensuring the event’s preparations. He added that this program will be remembered as a historic moment in the lives of the people of the state.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao stated that all necessary preparations are being made to ensure the successful organization of the public meeting.

Present at the occasion were MLAs Shri Dharamlal Kaushik, Shri Amar Agarwal, Shri Dharamjeet Singh, Shri Punnulal Mohle, Shri Sushant Shukla, the Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary Shri Subodh Kumar Singh, Chief Minister’s Secretary Shri P. Dayanand, Commissioner Shri Mahadev Kawre, IG Shri Sanjeev Shukla, Collector Shri Avnish Sharan, and other senior officials.
