CM Sai inaugurates new building of Rawatpura Sarkar Institute of Medical Sciences

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today inaugurated the new building of Rawatpura Sarkar Institute of Medical Sciences in Nava Raipur. Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Finance Minister Shri O.P. Chaudhary, MLA Shri Indra Kumar Sahu, Shri Ravishankar Ji Maharaj and Dean of the Medical College Dr. Kundan E. Gedam were present on the occasion.
The Chief Minister inspected various departments and state-of-the-art classrooms of the medical college and took stock of the facilities available here.
He observed the teaching and learning activities in various departments including Anatomy Museum, Dissection Hall, Lab, Community Medicine Department. During his visit to the medical college, he was informed that state-of-the-art technology and resources have been provided here, so that students can get quality education.
It is noteworthy that 150 seats are available for medical studies at Shri Rawatpura Sarkar Institute of Medical Sciences and Research. The first session of the medical college has started from this year itself.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today inaugurated various medical units at Shri Rawatpura Sarkar Institute of Medical Sciences Hospital. The Chief Minister took stock of the health facilities available in the 650-bed hospital. During this, he inaugurated the new CT Scan, MRI unit, Dialysis unit and Emergency Medical Unit in the hospital.
On this occasion, he said that patients will be able to get accurate and timely treatment through new facilities. On this occasion, the Chief Minister interacted with the hospital staff and doctors and appreciated their work. He said that the medical college and hospital will not only meet the regional needs but will also provide state-of-the-art healthcare services to the surrounding patients. The availability of state-of-the-art facilities like MRI and CT scan will facilitate the detection and treatment of complex diseases. The inauguration of the emergency unit will make emergency medical services faster and more effective. He said that the medical college will provide better opportunities for medical education to the youth of the region and people will benefit from health services.
