CM Sai Inaugurates New Building of Government Regional Press

Raipur, May 16

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today inaugurated the new building of the Government Regional Press in Chikhli, Rajnandgaon, constructed at a cost of ₹9 crore. Important government documents are published here. The Chief Minister also inspected the newly constructed building of the Government Press and its publishing and other arrangements.
The Government Regional Press building in Rajnandgaon is the only government press in Chhattisgarh where important government documents are published. The old building of the press was very old, due to which a new building was felt necessary.
The new building of the Government Press includes a paper godown, printing material store, binding and paper store, mechanical store, composing and reading room, type store, camera room, Assistant Superintendent’s office, Director’s room, conference room, and other necessary arrangements. It has 4 large halls and 12 rooms.
On this occasion, Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Deputy Chief Minister and District In-charge Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, MP Shri Santosh Pandey, Mayor Shri Madhusudan Yadav, along with other public representatives and officers and employees of the Government Press, were present.
