CM Sai Inaugurates Environmental Park in Bagia

If you wish to spend time with your family in a clean environment amidst nature, the Environmental Park in Bagia awaits your visit. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today inaugurated the Environmental Park in his native village of Bagia, located in Jashpur district. On this occasion, the Chief Minister, along with planting coconut, betel nut, and Sita Ashoka saplings, also conveyed the message of environmental conservation.

Developed at a cost of 53 lakh rupees over 28 hectares in a picturesque natural setting, the Environmental Park includes an adventure zone, medicinal plants, a children’s park, a waterfall, a meditation hut, and a butterfly zone that showcases the life cycle of butterflies. These features bring people closer to nature and provide them with a delightful experience. During the event, the Chief Minister mentioned that the park would generate employment opportunities in the area.

Medicinal plants are planted in the park

The Environmental Park has a Jungle Trail, featuring a yoga zone, Aarogya Forest Path, jungle gym, butterfly zone, Mowgli Adventure Zone, oxygen booth, pagoda, elephant zone, pond, natural swings, and a kids’ play zone. Numerous medicinal plants such as Harra, Giloy, Beli Bamboo, Sarpagandha, Ashwagandha, Barbados Lily, Mint, Lemon Grass, Pattharchatta, and Amla have been planted in the park.

In the butterfly zone of the park, the entire life cycle of butterflies and their contribution to the environment is displayed. All species of butterflies found in Jashpur are also exhibited, aiming to raise awareness about butterflies and the importance of their conservation.

Various adventure activities for children in Mowgli Adventure Zone

The kids’ play zone in the park features attractive swings, including natural swings. Additionally, the Mowgli Adventure Zone has been created for children’s entertainment, with activities such as Commando Net, Tire Walk, Balance Bridge, Tire Climbing, Rope Walk, Inclined Log, Cargo Net, Single Line Bridge, and Burma Bridge.

A natural pagoda made of Sarai wood has been built in the park, where families can enjoy the beauty of nature. Sculptures depicting primitive culture created by tribal artists are also displayed in the park. To raise awareness about the environment, attractive dustbins made of bamboo have been placed throughout the park.

Chief Minister Interacts Warmly with Children, Gifts Fruits and Dry Fruits

Whenever the Chief Minister meets children, he does so with affection and care. While inspecting the Environmental Park, he called the children playing there and interacted with them lovingly. The Chief Minister gifted them fruits and dry fruits. The children, including Deepanshu Yadav, Neetu Dewar, Bhim Vishwakarma, Ritesh Ram, and others, were visibly happy after meeting the Chief Minister.

On this occasion, the Vice-Chairperson of the Sarguja Tribal Development Authority and MLA of Patthalgaon, Smt. Gomti Sai, District Panchayat President Shri Salik Sai, PCCF Shri Arun Pandey, Commissioner Narendra Dugga, IG Shri Ankit Garg, Collector Shri Rohit Vyas, Superintendent of Police Shri Shashimohan Singh, Forest Division Officer Shri Jitendra Upadhyay, IFS Shri Nikhil Agarwal, along with officers and public representatives including Shri Rampratap Singh, Bharat Singh, and Sunil Gupta, were present.
