CM Sai Grandly Welcomed the Lord Jhulelal Procession with Flowers

Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Vishnu Deo Sai, today warmly welcomed the procession of Lord Jhulelal on the occasion of his birth anniversary and the Chetrichand (Chaiti Chand) festival with a shower of flowers at Jaystambh Chowk, Raipur.

After touring the city, the procession arrived at Jaystambh Chowk, where Chief Minister Shri Sai joined in with reverence and joy, extending his best wishes to the entire Sindhi community on the occasion of the festival.

On this auspicious occasion, the Chief Minister conveyed heartfelt wishes to the people of the state for Lord Jhulelal’s birth anniversary, the Chetrichand festival, the Hindu New Year, and Navratri. He emphasized that Lord Jhulelal is not only the deity of the Sindhi community but also a symbol of social unity, courage, and service. The Chetrichand festival marks the beginning of a new year filled with hope, faith, and victory.

The Chief Minister, while wishing for happiness, peace, and prosperity in the lives of the people of the state through the blessings of Lord Jhulelal and Mother Bhavani, said, “As we begin this auspicious period with Navratri, we should all resolve to work together for the betterment of society and the country.”

Chief Minister Sai appreciated the struggles, hard work, and achievements of the Sindhi community, saying that even after the partition of the country, when the Sindhi community had to leave everything behind and start afresh, you never gave up. Your diligence, unity, and inner strength earned you a respected place in every corner of the country.

He specifically remembered Bharat Ratna Shri Lal Krishna Advani and said that great leaders like him are an inspiration to the Sindhi community. Shri Advani contributed significantly to nation-building through his roles as Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister.

He further added that the contributions of the Sindhi community in trade, culture, education, and national service are exemplary. Your unity and family values continue to guide the new generation.
