CM Sai Gives Clear Message: Commissioners and Collectors Should Conduct Regular Tours; Ensure Timely and Regular Operation of Revenue Courts

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, in a high-level review meeting held in the Zila Panchayat auditorium in Rajnandgaon under the Good Governance Festival, gave strict instructions to officials regarding regular tours and visits to rural areas for development and public service, and ensuring the timely operation of revenue courts.
Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that the dream of a developed Chhattisgarh will only be realized when officials remain connected to the ground reality and people’s problems are resolved directly in their presence. For this, all Commissioners, Collectors, and other senior officials should regularly visit and tour their respective districts and blocks, ensure physical monitoring of ongoing development works in the area, and strengthen the culture of accountability.
Chief Minister Shri Sai instructed revenue officials to ensure the regular operation of revenue courts. Along with this, every officer should work according to the pre-determined court calendar. The date of the court should be canceled only in extremely special circumstances. This will not only provide timely justice to the common people but also bring transparency in administrative work.
The Chief Minister also said that the backbone of good governance is that officials maintain public relations, remain present among the public, and solve their problems quickly. This will not only strengthen the feeling of trust but also increase the credibility of the government.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today reviewed the development works of Rajnandgaon, Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki, and Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai districts in a joint review meeting held in the Zila Panchayat building auditorium in Rajnandgaon district under the Good Governance Festival. Chief Minister Shri Sai gave clear instructions to officials in the meeting that the schemes should be effectively implemented at the ground level and that benefits reach every eligible beneficiary on time.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that “Health schemes should be widely publicized so that common people get information about the schemes in time and can avail their benefits. Regular camps should be organized for the quick disposal of revenue cases. All pending demands of residential schemes, including Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, should be resolved 100%. Also, coordination and transparency should be maintained in the implementation of government welfare schemes in the districts, and action should be taken in a time-bound manner.”
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the objective of the Good Governance Festival is to ensure that the reach of governance and administration extends to every village, poor person, and citizen in the last line. He said that “The measure of a scheme’s success is not just paper progress, but the feeling of satisfaction and security on the faces of beneficiaries.”
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said that “The state government has successfully implemented most of the promises made under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s guarantee at the grassroots level.” He praised the good work being done by officials in all districts and said that administration should work with dedication and coordination as per the expectations of the public.
The Chief Minister instructed to ensure timely availability of fertilizers and seeds to farmers and said that in view of the upcoming Kharif season, all districts should make advance preparations as per the needs of the farmers. He also instructed officials to arrange for quick disposal of pending revenue cases by organizing camps so that common citizens can get timely solutions.
He informed that the state government has launched Atal Seva Kendras in 1460 panchayats. With the smooth operation of these centers, rural citizens will not need to go elsewhere for banking services, documents, and digital services. The Chief Minister assigned the responsibility of effective operation of these centers to the concerned officials and instructed that public convenience should be given top priority.
Chief Minister Shri Sai informed that it has been decided to organize a Tiranga Yatra (Tricolor March) in all panchayats, which will encourage national consciousness and citizen participation. He urged all public representatives, officials, and panchayat representatives to ensure active participation in this march.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the dream of a developed Chhattisgarh is a shared responsibility of all of us. Every officer and employee of the government and administration will have to work with coordination, promptness, and a spirit of service to accelerate the development journey.
On this occasion, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Deputy Chief Minister and District In-charge Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, MP Shri Santosh Pandey, Mayor Shri Madhusudan Yadav, Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Subodh Kumar Singh, along with other public representatives and senior officials, were present.
