CM Sai enjoys local cuisine at Dhaba

Raipur, May 27
On his way back from a tour of Raigarh district, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai stopped at a modest roadside eatery (dhaba) in Simga today, where he sat down and enjoyed local cuisine. Despite a hectic schedule throughout the day under the Susashan Tihar (Good Governance Festival), he took time to eat at the dhaba and interact with the general public in a relaxed manner.
At the eatery, Chief Minister Sai had a heartfelt conversation with the people present, inquired about their well-being, and listened to them attentively. With no pomp, no show of security—just like a true people’s leader—he sat among the citizens, sharing trust and warmth. This scene left a strong impression of the Chief Minister’s simplicity and deep connection to the grassroots in the minds of everyone present.
Citizens at Anand Dhaba in Simga expressed joy at having the Chief Minister among them and remarked that this reflects the simplicity of his leadership style and his connection with public sentiment. During the meal, many people took photographs with him and interacted enthusiastically. Present on the occasion were Chief Secretary Mr. Amitabh Jain, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr. Subodh Singh, Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr. P. Dayanand, along with other officials and local villagers.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Sai said, “Wherever I go, meeting the people gives me energy. These meetings are not formalities for me, they are heartfelt.” His natural and humane approach made it clear that good governance is not just visible on platforms and stages, but also in the simple moments of everyday life.
