CM Sai congratulates security forces on the neutralization of Maoist Deputy Commander with ₹8 lakh bounty in Bijapur

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has lauded the indomitable courage, precise strategy, and public cooperation of the security forces for neutralizing Sodhi Kanna, the Deputy Commander of the Maoists’ PLGA battalion who carried a bounty of ₹8 lakh, in Bijapur district of Bastar.
He stated that under the guidance of Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the leadership of Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, the mission to make the country free from Naxalism by 31st March 2026 has reached a decisive phase. The Chhattisgarh government is fully committed to this campaign.
Chief Minister Sai said this operation is a living example of the valor and well-planned strategy of our brave security forces. Their continuous and decisive actions have broken the backbone of the Naxal organization. Today, Naxalism is breathing its last. The Chhattisgarh government will continue this campaign with full resolve. He further added that in the times ahead, democracy, trust, and progress will triumph in every region of the state.
