CM Sai Commends the Indomitable Courage of Security Forces

The fight to eradicate Naxalism in Chhattisgarh has reached a decisive phase. In a significant success, security forces eliminated two Naxalites in an encounter in Sukma district. Over the past 60 days, 67 hardcore Naxalites have been neutralized in the Bastar region.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai lauded the indomitable courage, dedication, and commitment of the security forces and congratulated them on this remarkable achievement. He stated that ever since the formation of the “double-engine” government in Chhattisgarh, the anti-Naxal operations have gained new momentum and direction. The battle against Naxalism is now in its final stage. Notably, in the past 13 months, more than 300 Naxalites have been killed, over 985 have surrendered, and 1,177 have been arrested as part of strict action against Naxalism in the state.

Complete Eradication of Naxalism by 2026
Chief Minister Shri Sai emphasized that under the leadership of Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, the goal is to completely eliminate Naxalism from Chhattisgarh by March 31, 2026. He asserted that the joint strategy of the state government and security forces is delivering decisive blows to Naxalism. This campaign will continue relentlessly until the problem is entirely eradicated. He further stated that the Chhattisgarh government is progressing rapidly on the path of peace, security, and development, and this success is a testament to that firm resolve.
