Chintan Shivir 2.0: Chief Minister and Ministers Learn the Principles of Better Financial Management

In the post-lunch session of Chintan Shivir 2.0, held at IIM Raipur, Professor Dr. Ravindra Dholakia from IIM Ahmedabad delivered a presentation on the topic “From Subsidy to Sustainability: Rethinking Public Finance for Development.” He provided in-depth insights on financial management, optimal use of resources, steps required for resource mobilization, and revenue collection. Dr. Dholakia emphasized that increasing capital expenditure is essential to achieving a strong growth rate.
Present on the occasion were Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, all cabinet ministers, Chief Minister’s Secretary Shri Rahul Bhagat, Special Secretary of the Department of Good Governance and Convergence Shri Rajat Bansal, and Director of IIM Raipur Shri Ram Kakkani.
