Children Receiving Vocational Training Under the New National Education Policy: CM Sai

Raipur, December 30
A special gift arrived today from Madanar School in Narayanpur Assembly constituency for Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and the cabinet ministers. The school children of Government Upper Primary School, Madanar, presented wooden nameplates prepared by their own hands to the Chief Minister and all the ministers.
Chief Minister Sai was so pleased to receive the gift that he immediately had the nameplate installed on the table of his chamber in the Secretariat and also asked all the ministers to have it installed in their chambers.
These children met the Chief Minister today in his office chamber in the Secretariat.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that the dedication with which our children are carrying forward the wonderful art of Bastar is commendable. The children’s education and dedication towards learning new things will pave the way for the progress of Bastar.
He introduced himself to all the children and appreciated their art.
Chief Minister Sai appreciated the children’s efforts to learn this art and when he came to know that the children had learned this after receiving training under the New Education Policy, his happiness knew no bounds.
He said that the Prime Minister of the country, Shri Narendra Modi, had the same objective that through the new National Education Policy, children should not only study but also become proficient in their areas of interest. The new education policy is fulfilling the big goal of making education interesting, preserving art and culture, and creating employment.
During this, the children presented the preamble of the constitution engraved on wood to the Chief Minister and presented portraits to Deputy Chief Ministers Shri Arun Sao and Shri Vijay Sharma. Teacher Shri Shivcharan Sahu, who came with the school children, told the Chief Minister that the nameplate was prepared by 12th class student Kashik with her own hands. At the same time, the portrait was prepared by Khilendra Baghel and the preamble of the constitution was prepared by student Sagar.
He told that all the children have received this training under the pre-vocational education in the new National Education Policy and the children are learning it with interest. Shri Sahu told that they are getting around Rs. 3 lakh annually through the sale of these artworks. The artworks prepared by the children are now also available in big online markets like Amazon and Flipkart.
On this occasion, Agriculture Minister Shri Ramvichar Netam, Food Minister Shri Dayal Das Baghel, Forest Minister Shri Kedarnath Kashyap, Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Revenue Minister Shri Tankram Verma, Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Lakshmi Rajwade, and Industry Minister Shri Lakhan Lal Devangan were present.
