Chief Minister Sai Flags Off Mobile Medical Unit and Awareness Vehicle

Raipur, December 7

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today flagged off the Mobile Medical Unit and awareness vehicle at AIIMS Raipur as part of the “Nikshay Niramay Chhattisgarh” 100-day testing and treatment campaign. The initiative aims to raise awareness and conduct TB screenings. One vehicle each has been allocated for the Raipur, Durg, and Bilaspur divisions. Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal was also present at the event.

The Mobile Medical Unit will conduct on-the-spot screenings for TB among identified high-risk groups during the campaign. Using AI technology, the unit is equipped with handheld X-ray devices, CY-TB testing, and 16-channel TrueNat machines. These tools will facilitate immediate detection and treatment of suspected TB cases through X-ray examinations conducted on-site.
