Chief Minister Hands Over Keys of Permanent Houses to Birhor Women

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today handed over keys of newly constructed permanent houses to five women, including members of Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs), under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, following a review meeting held in Raigarh.
On this occasion, he handed over house keys to Dilmat Bai, Guruwari Bai, and Shaniro Bai from the Birhor tribe of Keeda village in Dharamjaigarh development block.
Additionally, beneficiaries Geetanjali Sidhar from Banora village and Gulabi Yadav from Kukurda village in Raigarh district also received the benefit of the housing scheme. The beneficiaries beamed with happiness upon receiving the house keys from the Chief Minister and expressed their gratitude to him and the government.
The Chief Minister stated that the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is a significant and people-centric initiative aimed at providing permanent housing to the poor. He emphasized that the government’s priority is to ensure that every eligible individual has a dignified place to live. A large number of needy families have already been benefited under this scheme, and those who are still left out will be provided homes under the Awas Plus 2 scheme.
