Chief Minister Extends Greetings on Lohri Festival

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has extended his greetings and best wishes to the people of the state, particularly the Sikh community, on the occasion of the Lohri festival.
In his message, the Chief Minister said that the festival of Lohri is celebrated to mark the joy of the new harvest and is also known as the festival of farmers. Lohri symbolizes social unity and familial harmony. On this day, people collectively worship Agni Dev (the fire deity). Through dance and music, people share the happiness of life.
The Chief Minister stated that Lohri is not only associated with agriculture and nature but is also a symbol of our culture, traditions, and togetherness. Through this festival, we spread the message of love, brotherhood, and prosperity in society. He expressed his wish that the festival of Lohri brings good health, happiness, and prosperity to everyone’s lives.
