Chief Minister Extends Best Wishes for the Success of Sirpur Mahotsav

Raipur, January 29

A delegation led by Mahasamund MLA Shri Yogeshwar Raju Sinha called on Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai at Mantralaya (Mahanadi Bhavan) and formally invited him to attend the Sirpur Mahotsav, scheduled to be held from February 1 to 3 at Sirpur, a site of immense historical significance in the district.

Chief Minister Shri Sai observed that “Sirpur Mahotsav” is organized every year in a grand and dignified manner with the objective of preserving Chhattisgarh’s ancient cultural, historical, and archaeological heritage and making it accessible to the wider public. He noted that the festival not only strengthens the State’s rich cultural identity but also plays a vital role in placing it prominently on the national stage.

Appreciating the historical and cultural legacy of Sirpur, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that such events provide a significant boost to tourism and create new opportunities for employment and livelihood for local residents. He conveyed his advance best wishes to the organisers for the successful conduct of the Sirpur Mahotsav.

On the occasion, Mahasamund Collector Shri Vinay Kumar Langeh, Superintendent of Police Shri Prashant Kumar, Chief Executive Officer of the Sirpur Special Area Development Authority (SADA) Shri Dhammasheel Ganveer, and Shri Dharmendra Mahobiya were also present.
