Chhattisgarh’s Development Will Accelerate with the Budget: Sai

Raipur, 3 March

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai stated that the newly presented budget will give rapid momentum to Chhattisgarh’s development. The budget is designed not only to address the current needs but also to build the necessary infrastructure for the state’s future growth.

Speaking on the budget for his government’s second year, CM Sai said, “Our motto is ‘From Knowledge to Momentum.’ The previous budget focused on the poor, youth, farmers, and women. Now, the focus is on accelerating their progress through good governance, rapid infrastructure development, technology, and industrial growth.”

Key Highlights of the Budget
Capital expenditure of over ₹26,000 crore has been allocated in line with Atal Construction Year, celebrating the birth centenary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Connecting rivers was Atal Ji’s dream, which the government aims to fulfill.
The budget opens new avenues for youth employment and entrepreneurship and focuses on the needs of high-tech agriculture.
A strong foundation for an industrial and IT hub has been laid.
Building a Developed Chhattisgarh
CM Sai emphasized that under PM Narendra Modi’s leadership, the goal is to transform Chhattisgarh into a developed state. “We inherited a financially unstable state with poor governance. Through fiscal and administrative reforms, we have put Chhattisgarh back on track. Our ‘Triple-Engine Government’ will now accelerate this momentum,” he said.

Last year’s budget focused on inclusive growth with knowledge-driven initiatives for the poor, youth, farmers, and women. This year, the theme is “Momentum for Knowledge,” aligning with the Triple-Engine Government’s vision of:

G – Good Governance
A – Accelerating Infrastructure
T – Technology Advancement
I – Industrial Growth

The budget is crafted with the principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas” (Collective Effort for Collective Growth).
A Vision for the Future
CM Sai declared, “With this budget, Chhattisgarh is ready to take a new flight toward fulfilling its dreams with renewed determination.” The Triple-Engine Government is committed to working at full speed to turn its vision of a developed, industrialized, and digitally advanced Chhattisgarh into reality.
