Youth with new ideas will develop Chhattisgarh : Chief Minister

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel called upon the youth to participate actively in the development of Chhattisgarh. The youth with fresh ideas can bring in rapid development of the state.

Baghel was speaking at the annual day celebrations of the Government Digvijay College at Rajnandgaon. Baghel garlanded the photo of Late Mahant Raja Digvijay Das and paid his obeisance.

Chief Minister said that the State Government had taken a historic step be waiving loans to the farmers. The paddy will be purchased on a Minimum Support Price (MSP) of Rs 2 thousand 500 a quintal. Chhattisgarh is the only state in the country which had fixed such a high price. The prosperity of farmers is the utmost priority of the authorities.

Baghel said the process of recruitment of one thousand 300 Assistant grade lecturers in various colleges had already been started. Fifteen thousand teachers will be recruited in the schools soon. New employment opportunities are opening up for educated youth. Stress is being laid on boosting agri-based industries. The state is abundant in natural resources. The State Government is keen on utilizeing the natural resources for the development of Chhattisgarh.

Chief Minister said that students are the future of the nation and the state. The youths have a lot of dreams but they should be rooted to the ground. The students should never forget their ideals and cultural values even if they are highly successful.

Baghel ordered the construction of hostel building soon and improve the audition system in the auditorium.

Former MP Karuna Shukla said that the history of Chhattisgarh will change under the leadership of Bhupesh Baghel. The personality of Chief Minister exhibits the Chhattisgarhi culture, life-style. She wished a bright future for the students.

Principal R. N. Singh gave a detailed report on the functioning of the college. Students’ union president Miss. Saraswati Jain also spoke. MLAs Daleshwar Sahu, Bhuneshwar Baghel, Rajnandgaon Zilla Panchayat Chairperson Chitralekha Verma, former Minister  Dhanesh Patila, In-Charge IG Ratanlal Danngi, Collector Bheem Singh, senior officers, people’s representatives were present in large numbers.
