Raipur, May 26
A police team on Friday arrested a woman naxal in insurgency-hit Jagdalpur district of Chhattisgarh, police said.
According to police, security personnel engaged in anti-naxal operation nabbed a female cadre of the banned organization Paro Oyami (40) from Bacheli old market. The 40-year-old cadre was absconding from last 8 years and involved in various crimes. Several cases under railway act, Indian Penal Code and other were pending against Paro.
The arrested naxal was produced in a local court from where she was sent to jail, added police.
