A female cadre of the outlawed organisation Communist Party of India (Maoists), carrying cash reward of Rs 1 lakh, was today arrested by a joint team of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and police in insurgency-hit Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh, police said.
Following a tip-off about presence of naxals, a joint squad of security personnel launched a search operation and succeeded in arresting a woman naxal identified as Sinakka Avlam (26) from Galgam Nadpalli village forest falling in limits of Usoor police station, informed police.
The 26-year-old woman ultra was an active member of local organisation squad (LOS) of Maoists outfit, added police.
Police further informed that initial investigation revealed that the arrested naxal was involved in various crimes and naxal incidents took place in the region including loot, attempt to murder and other.
