Chief Minister dedicates, performs ‘bhoomipujan’ of works worth Rs 108 crore

Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh dedicated, laid foundation stones and performed ‘bhoomipujan’ of development works worth Rs 108 crore at Bacheli district Dantewada. He gave away relief materials and cheques worth Rs Four crore 8 lakh to about six thousand beneficiaries of various social -welfare schemes of the State Government.
Dr. Raman Singh while addressing a massive gathering yesterday said that he had launched ‘Vikaas Yatra’ to give statement of accounts and development works done during the past 14 years. The pace of development had picked up in Dantewada. His aim is to make Chhattisgarh a developed state as early as possible. The State had provide electricity to 34, 000 dwellings under the ‘Sowbhagya’ project. There are only 8, 000 houses left where there is no electricity connections.
