Chief Secretary gives strict instructions to coal companies and railway
Raipur, December 5
Chief Secretary RP Mandal has chaired a meeting at Mantralaya (Mahanadi Bhavan) regarding coal supply to Chhattisgarh State Power Production Company Limited by coal producing companies.
Mandal has given strict instructions to the coal companies and senior railway officials that Chhattisgarh’s Atal Bihari Vajpayee Thermal Power House Madwa, Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Thermal Power House Korba (East) and Hasdeo Thermal Power House Korba (West) should be provided uninterrupted coal supply.
Under any circumstances, coal supply to thermal power production houses should not be interrupted and regular supply of coal in sufficient quantity should be ensured. Mr. Mandal directed Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Power Production Company Limited Mr. Shailendra Shukla, Secretary Mineral Mr. Anbalgan P and Joint Secretary Energy Mr. Mohammad Kaisar to ensure monitoring of coal supply to Thermal Power Houses. In the meeting, Principal Secretary Energy Mr. Gaurav Dwivedi along with officers of SECL and Railway were also present.
