In Chhattisgarh, two ultras, including a female cadre, were killed in an encounter with security forces in insurgency-hit Sukma district of Chhattisgarh. The encounter broke out when a joint team of District Reserve Guard and Special Task Force was on a search operation in Chintagufa area. Maoists ambushed the team near Tokanpalli village. Security personnel retaliated. In the ensuing gun-battle, two Maoists were killed.
