Raman first CM in entire nation to address listeners 36 times in 36 months on radio

Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh on Sunday achieved the rare distinction of addressing the listeners on Akashvani (AIR) 36 times in 36 months. He is the first Chief Minister in the entire country to do so. ‘Raman Ke Goth’ was broadcast 36th time on Raipur Akashvani on Sunday 12th August. Dr. Raman Singh is the first Chief Minister who is addressing the listeners on the second Sunday of every month (10.45 am-11: 05 am) for the past 36 months religiously. It may be mentioned here that the first episode was broadcast on 13th September 2015. Chief Minister explains to the citizens of the State on various social welfare policies and programmes of the State Government-education, health, environment, agriculture, festivals, art and culture, youth welfare, women’s empowerment and several other relevant issues. It may be recalled that Jagdalpur station broadcasts in local dialect ‘Halbi’ and Ambikapur Akasvani Kendra in ‘Surgujia’ dialect. Several private Television channels and FM radio stations also telecast live in the entire State.
