Raipur, August 9
Congress President Rahul Gandhi will be dedicating the new building of Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee ‘Rajiv Bhawan’ in Raipur on August 10. Amid coming assembly election scheduled this year, the visit of Rahul Gandhi is considered as very important from strategic point of view.
The Congress President will be reaching here at Mana airport around 2:20 pm by a regular flight, informed CGPCC general secretary and chairman of media cell Shailesh Nitin Trivedi.
Trivedi further added that on the way to Rajiv Bhawan from the airport, Gandhi will be welcomed by the party workers. After taking guard of honour from volunteers of Congress’s ‘Sewa Dal’ at 3 pm, the leader will dedicate the newly constructed building of Congress at 3:30 pm.
On the occasion, Gandhi is going to flag-off ‘jungle satyagrah’ by handing over a flag to state president of Adivasi Congress. Meanwhile, he will be interacting with media persons, representatives from medical field and business sector.
Gandhi will be leaving for the national capital at 7:40 pm after having interaction with the party leaders including MLAs, AICC members, PCC members and members of the party’s units.
