Revenue cases should be resolved within stipulated time frame: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Thursday directed the official concerned to give wide publicity to the timings of health camps organized under Chief Minister’s Haat Bazar Clinic scheme. Besides, he asked them to ensure implementation of departmental schemes at ground level stressing on the need to need for continuous monitoring of the same. He was chairing a review meeting of district level officials at Manendragarh of Koriya district today.
Mr. Baghel directed the officers to maintain a register for property transfer and partition in relation to revenue cases and keep it up to date besides instructing to resolve cases of settlement error within the stipulated time limit. He asked the officials to expedite the work of upgradation of Devgudis and prepare an action plan regarding the same. The officials were asked to follow the rules of 170B regarding the partition of land.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel mentioned that caste certificates and forestland rights certificates have been made in large numbers in the district. He asked the officials concerned to expedite the work of establishment of the new district. He also directed to quickly resolve pending cases of caste and income certificates.
Chief Minister directed to prioritize plantation of same species of fruit-bearing trees in block and canal side plantation work, which will facilitate in starting their processing work. He asked the officials to ensure effective implementation of landless labor scheme to curb labor migration in coal mining areas.
While reviewing the work of Gauthan, the Chief Minister asked to set up processing unit of forest produce in Gauthan which will serve as a source of additional income besides directing to give priority to rental business in Gauthan. He instructed the officials concerned to keep a check on the quality of Vermi Compost and develop Gauthan as Rural Industrial Park.
While reviewing the works under MNREGA, the Chief Minister directed to continue the works under MNREGA in the areas hit by deficient monsoon. He stressed on the need to recharge ponds for ensuring availability of drinking water.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel emphasized on maintaining the quality of education in all government school ensuring the presence of teachers and timely completion of syllabus. He asked to provide good spoken English course to the children of Atmanand School besides directing to create an English speaking environment in the school. While reviewing status of Chief Minister’s Nutrition Campaign, the he directed to ensure distribution of hot meals to the beneficiaries in Anganwadis. He also directed the officers of the Tribal Development Department to give admission to the needy children on the vacant seats of the ashram hostels.
The Chief Minister said that to prevent human-elephant conflict, ponds should be constructed in the affected areas and plantation of fruit-bearing trees like Banyan, Peepal, Jackfruit, and Banana should be done in the forests. Home Minister and District In-charge Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu, Parliamentary Secretary Mrs. Ambika Singh Deo, MLAs Dr. Vinay Jaiswal and Mr. Gulab Kamro, Chief Minister’s Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Subrat Sahoo along with Divisional Commissioner, IG and district level officers were present in the review meeting.
