
Raman Singh to launch ‘ Bonus Tihar’ at Bijapur on 2 December

Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh will launch the ”Tendupatta Bonus Tihar’ in the Left-Wing Extremism affected Bijapur district on 2 December. Preparations are in full swing to distribute bonus to the Tendupatta collectors in the entire State. The distribution of Tendu Bonus will go on till 11 December. The Primary Forest Produce Co-Operative Samities will be the medium for the distribution of bonus. Dr. Raman Singh will be the chief guest at seven places where the bonus will be given away to the leaves’ procurers.
Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh will participate in the first two-days at Naxalites’ affected district on 2-3 December ‘Tendupatta Bonus Tihar’. An amount of Rs 274 crore 38 lakh bonus will be given away to 14 lakh members of the Primary Forest Produce Co-Operative Samities. Forest Minister Mr. Mahesh Gaagda called upon the department officers to make all preparations for the launch of the ‘Tihar’. It may be recalled that State Government had distributed Rs 1, 842 crore as wages and Rs 1, 235 crore as bonus to the Tendu patta collectors during the past 13 years.
Chhattisgarh State Minor Forest Co-Operative Union Managing Director Mr. Mudit Kumar Singh today said that Tendupatta Bonus Tihar will be celebrated at 14 places. Chief Minister will distribute bonus to procurers of the two districts -Bijapur, Dantewada (District Unions). Dr. Raman Singh also will give away bonus at village Dhanora in district Kondagaon. Chief Minister also will distribute bonus at village Chindhgad district Sukma on 03 December. The procurers belong to Sukma and Jagdalpur districts.
Dr. Raman Singh will fly-off to village Mohala (District Rajnandgaon) and distribute bonus to collectors belonging to districts Balod and Rajnandgaon Primary Forest Produce Samities members. The Managing Director Mr. Singh said that Dr. Raman Singh will distribute bonus at village Shankargarh of Balrampur and Ramanujganj district to procurers of Tendupatta of Balrampur and Surguja districts on 5th December. He will give away bonus at village Marwahi district Balrampur on 8th December. The collectors belong to Marwahi, Bilaspur and Janjgir. Several ministers also will participate in the Tendupatta Bonus Tihar.
Forest Minister Mr. Mahesh Gaagda, Home Minister Mr. Ramsevak Paikra and Adivasi Development Minister Mr.Kedar Kashyap will participate at Antagarh in Kanker district on 4 December. They will participate at a function in Gariyabandh district on 6th December. The Minister also will take part at a function at village Bodla in district Kabirdham and village Salhewara in district Rajnandgaon on 7th December. They will take part in the Bonus Tihar at Mahasamund’s Kallhehari on 9th December. The three Ministers will participate at a function at village Sonhat in district Korea on 10th December. They will take part at a Bonus Tihar function at village Kothba district Jashpur on 11th December.
