Bilaspur, August 11
Usually dull atmosphere of Bilaspur’s Chakarbhata region on Friday turned sensational, after a person has allegedly killed his wife and two children. The triple murder has created sensation in the entire region.
A person identified as Amzed has allegedly stabbed his 35-year-old wife to death and slit throat of his two children, said City Superintendent of Police Nasar Siddiqui, adding that police have arrested the accused, who was working as street vendor.
The victims have been identified as Afsha Begum (35), Anjum Nisha (11) and Aftab (8), said the officer.
The officer informed that after being informed about the incident, police rushed to the spot and investigators have recovered knife used in the crime and collected other evidence from the crime scene. In this connection, police have registered a case under relevant sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC) and started investigation.
